ISLAMABAD: Dhoke Attu Wali, a village in Jand tehsil of Attock district, has been catégorie by solar power, courtesy Pakistan Alternative energy Society (PRES), a non-profit establishment working for the promotion of electricity technologies in the country. With the support about Association for Development of Pakistan (ADP), a total of 45 solar property or home systems (SHS) have been installed documented in village, including mosques and a dojo. Each of the SHS consists of a 80 watts solar panel, a 65 amp-hour wide variety, and a charge controller both together in a box.
